16th-19th July, 2009
It's the 25th Anniversary!
Join us in Grand Marais, Michigan from July 16-19, 2009 as the Great Lakes Sea Kayak Symposium celebrates its 25th year along Lake Superior's incredible Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
The oldest kayaking symposium on the Great Lakes welcomes paddlers of all ages and abilities for a weekend packed with fun and learning opportunities. Grand Marais has a protected harbor that is ideal for class sessions and skills practice while offering a perfect starting point for unforgettable trips along the scenic lakeshore. Whether you are being introduced to kayaking for the first time or you have been on the water for years, attendees will enjoy learning from a team of qualified, highly experienced individuals who are passionate about the sport and eager to share their knowledge in a non-competitive, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere.
Registration for this year's event will begin on April 15, 2009.
