| During the summer of 2007, Sam circumnavigated Ireland, in the worse summer weather since records were kept in the mid 1800s. Despite the rain and strong unstable winds, Sam completed his circumnavigation of over 1000 miles in 82 days. His presentation will tell his tale of the people met along the way and places visited while paddling in some of the most challenging conditions found in the world. Sam is happy to be presenting at the symposium where he saw some of the slide shows that inspired his trip. | |
